IN CELEBRATION OF THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY, WE WILL NOT BE PUBLISHING OUR WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS & COMMENTARY NEXT WEEKEND. STAY SAFE & HAVE FUN!
It had to happen at some point! After five straight weeks of gains for the S&P 500 and eight for the Nasdaq, all three major US stock market indices lost ground this past week (i.e., DJIA: -1.97%, S&P 500: -1.75%, Nasdaq: -2.11%). Those seven high-flying tech stocks—AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, NVDA, TSLA, and META—were the main culprits.
Believe it or not, July 4th is upon us. WHEW, time flies! Several analysts have published their mid-year outlooks. We think you’ll find the Capital Group’s outlook in the link below very interesting.
Over the years, oil prices have had a meaningful impact on many realms of life. Currently, they have been trending lower. Investment pundits often speak of gas prices as a regressive tax when they are high and as a respite when they are low. Goldman Sachs’ “The Energy Crisis and Long-Run Oil Prices” report brings to light the possibilities for the future.
Below are links to a number of third-party research reports that we have read and analyzed over the past week. We hope you will find the information interesting, useful, and worthwhile.
